Diamond Edge, hot youth compound bow

This year, the Diamond Edge compound has dominated our youth bow sales. This bow has great adjustability and an upgrade program. The built in cam system offers 18-28inch draw length adjustments. Diamond offers an upgrade program to allow you to send the bow back to Diamond and for approximately $50 you will get new strings and cables and higher or lower poundage limbs.

Well, Easton sure did there homework. They have produced a top of the line quiver for 2008. Not only did the put a lot of thought into the pockets, locations and accessory pockets, they did it with style. These Easton hip quivers and field quivers will be extremely popular this year. We hope to see these in the store soon. We ordered in January and don't expect them until late June early July.

Stealth cam has a new Infrared trail camera for mid year 2006. This camera should be available in August.

This is a 2.0 megapixel camera that takes black and white pictures. You no longer have to worry about the flash scaring the deer. The camera comes with 16mb of built in memory. Time and date stamping on every image. The camera contains a SD-memory card slot and accepts upto 2GB cards.

STS what kind of archery product is this you ask? The STS is a device that connects from the rear or front stabilizer hold and has a sims type module that sits just in front of you string.

The concept is during the shot, the string comes forward and hits this stopper. The results is a huge reduction in vibration and even quiets down some bows.

Is this a gimmick? Absolutely Not! This item works. All of our staff shooters have these on their hunting bows. Even the guys with ultra smooth bows like the Mathews Swtichback XT are putting these on. Why do they do this? Their reponse was it removes the small bit of vibration that is left after the shot and improves the bow.

MAD Calls Buck Growl, hottest deer call in years

This new call by Kolpin, Mark Drury and MAD Calls is the hottest new deer call in years. Considering this call was just released, the demand has been incredible. If you visit our online store, you can view a snippet of the DVD that comes with the call.

The DVD gives instructions on the call and has two bow hunts using the call where two nice bucks are harvested. The video also show an independant hunter Rich Baugh where he videos the growl produced by a buck and then shows the bucks coming from every direction to see what is happening.

We have received another new 2006 Stealth cam. This is the V390Z (model #STC-AD3X).

What's so special about this one? How's 3 megapixel camera, built-in LCD viewing monitor and a 90ft flash. That's right 90 ft. Now you can see what the camera is taking pictures of at night. Changes to the Double Bull Archery Blinds

We have been notified of changes to the camo patterns for the Double Bull Blinds. In the past, you could purchase them in Predator Deception Green or Brown. Now there is a new color and the only color. Predetor Deception All Purpose. It is a cross between the green and the brown. For 2006, it will only be offered in the new color. 2006 Bowtech Allegiance

Well, Bowtech did it again with the Allegiance. They somehow made this bow even faster. This 34" axle-to-axle bow has incredible speed and power. Something like 87 foot pounds of kinetic energy and an IBO speed of 338fps with the fast module installed.

Bowtech improved the 2006 Allegiance with a modular cam system. This allow easy draw length changes by changing a module. No longer do you need a new cam. They also offer these modules in the 'smooth' and 'fast' categories. The smooth module gives a smoother draw and the fast module provides about 8fps in addtional speed.

We finally received our first 2006 Bowtech Tribute. This is one very sweet shooting bow. The bow is similar to the Allegiance. Not quite as fast but it is half and inch longer in brace height. The limbs are actually past parallel when at full draw. Then Bowtech's ad say zero shock, zero noise, they mean it. It lasted in the shop less than 24hours and was purchased. Needless to say, we have more coming.

We have received our demo bow from Mathews. It's a Mathews Switchback XT. This bow is 31" axle-to-axle, 7.5" brace height and new dampners. It has dampners in the suppression mounts and 3 dampners is the roller guard. Even though it is 31" it shoots like a much longer bow. Stop it an demo the new bow yourself.
